On Productivity
I’ve recently come to the realization that I do too many things that don’t have a positive impact on my life. No, I’m not talking about a necessary evasion of poor decisions that affect my health or well-being. Instead, I’m referring to the fact that much of my time is spent on things completely irrelevant to where I intend to progress my life during and after college. I guess you could say I haven’t fully made the transition from high school to college where more and more your behaviors are guided by your own decisions and you have to work hard to get what you want out of life. Being in college has taught me a lot about dedication, hard work, and discipline but I am not completely sure I have mastered the art of being in total control of my future…
… and that’s where I need to be. I’m on it.
